An outsider looking in.

i'm from across the pond (europe) and was wondering how long it take for a
show to be uploaded as a torrent after it has been shown on american
television? an example is heroes s01 e14 which was on one of your stations
last night.

also is it true that 'lost' has gone global and there is very little time
between the airing in america and the rest of the world. if so i wish some
other stations would follow this idea.

well usually the group scenes that rip the tv shows (xor, lol, no-tv etc) spread
it onto private sites, then it leaks from that structure to be available on eztv
or vtv ... (this is a simple summary 😉).

so basically, lost appears on the web at 5-6 am on gmt+1 ... you just have check
with the american hour of diffusion 😉.

for lil' shows it takes longer because eztv privilegies the "big shows" as lost,
prison break, 24, desperate housewives ...

about lost going global, here in france we still have to wait one year to have
it dubbed ... but that's ok cuz dubbing sucks :d

commenting on lost - it starts again in the us on wednesday 7th feb and is
broadcast in the uk on sky one on sunday 11th so if you live in the uk ( and
have sky ), there doesn't appear to be much point in downloading.
