the last few eps have been decent, this one wasnt bad(as in horrible/offensive) just boring
if u wanna know if a family guy ep is of lower quality then compare the amount of laughs u get from it to
the simpson ep that airs roughly the same time, if u laugh more at the simpson then it was a bad family
guy ep. im sure theres a wikia page that explains this fully =p
