interesting. i'm an avid tv-a-holic, and i've never heard of half of those shows.

i did watch chloe king, which despite being a tweener setup turned out to be a decent story. it's because they canceled that
show that i'm not going near the obligatory but unnecessary new teen witch show.

it'll be sad to see prime suspect go, though. it's like "in plain sight" without the urge to kick the screen and root for the bad
guys to kill the lead (i only watch it anymore for the marshall marshall character).

oh, and i almost overlooked the protector. like chloe king, that was one that looked to be awful but actually held its own
and was worth watching. not an award winner or anything, but enjoyable to watch. shame to see it get axed, too, even if it
was on lifetime. (chuckle)

have to agree with chloe king liked that more than the 2 secret shows, laying game (is that ppl part
2 still on or was that canned?) and secret circle. (but secret has grown on me a bit...)

the protector was watch-able, but didn't get into the us prime suspect. (liked the original too much).
as for the others...

charlie's angels: come on!! we all know it wasn't going to be golden globe potential but had good
eye-candy. and who cares about the plots... lol

as for: state of georgia, free agents, h8r, how to be a gentleman, same name, the world according to
paris, roseanne's nuts & hawthorne
never seen a single episode so no loss there!

memphis beat : that was a so-so show, nothing really grabbed my attention but watched it if nothing
better was on. never realised it was no longer on.. lol!

never watched "playboy club" either, but as charlie's angels lasted a few episodes more... i'm glad
i did miss it! ^_^

only two on that list i will miss is prime suspect and memphis beat.
all though the later of the two was really good- i am very surprised memphis beat is getting the
chop.... oh well.

wow! i'm very surprised! they didn't cancel any of my favorite shows; usually it's absolutely
uncanny how often the tv execs manage to target my favorites. the dark side of the force lost this
round!

prime suspect is a great show, can't believe it hasn't been given more of a go, especially with some of the
crap that manages to get a second season!(body of proof etc). granted the uk original was brilliant but
really this us version bears absolutely no resemblance to that one except for the 'gritty female lead', i felt
it stood on its own 2 feet and was well written and acted.

sad to see prime suspect go. not a good as the original but as a stand alone show it was head and
sholders above most current network fair. maria bello brought her own interpretation of how a women
is challenged in a male dominated profession. cudos to her. hope she gets something else that will let
her prove her acting chops!

i knew every single one of these would fail.

i didn't watch most of these shows but i knew charlie's angels wouldn't last.
it was either the writing or using unproven actresses. you just didn't care about them.

i was sorry to see the playboy club was cancelled. it had potential.
and there was plenty of eye candy! i hope someone would upload the unaired episodes
for this show.

and i'm surprised to see "pam am", another 60s throwback, is not on that list.
i didn't think it would last either.

too bad about prime suspect- hardly a surprise, tho'
memphis beat on the other hand... i didn't see that coming at all
and wtf is going on with cougar town?
i was looking forward to having it back with the middle and modern family
now it's an abbrev'd season?
cox is too old and single to be preggers, so what gives?

on balance- i'm pretty happy.
most of the new shows
that i care about aren't on the networks
& have an excellent shot at returning.
the only new network shows i'd miss
are ringer and person of interest.
they're doing quite well, i think.

the only cancellation i'm in any way disappointed about is memphis beat, and it's quite a surprise -
it was a really good show!
