it seems the audio is heavily compressed, it is not such an issue on this show but i've noticed it more and more recently and it makes walking dead unwatchable. |

have you tried vlc player from videolan.org? it's an excellent open source based player that plays almost everything and has a lot of options to tweak it to your own liking. i have used it for years and have no audio issues like you describe with the particular downloaded .avi like you seem to have. worth a try, i'd say. cheers, alex. |

what doesnt it play? i know it cant play bluray discs but u can convert them in a few hours to mkv which plays nicely. |
