i watched the first one and found it to be very unfunny. it seemed like one of
those shows you forced a 'laughed' at to prove you didn't think everyone
islamic was a terrorist.
i rather enjoyed the past two episodes. the show strives to show that there are
very few differences between muslims and non-muslims, cant wait to watch this
ep, thanks for uploading.
when i first saw a clip of the show, i thought it was hilarious but when i
watched the actual episodes i\'ve been deeply offended. this show does not
portray islam at all, instead it makes more of a mockery of it. you will never
see a girl wearing a hijab flirt with an imam, that\'s absolutely disgusting.
most of these characters dont appear to be muslims at all, even their names
suggest otherwise. this nawaz woman who\'s created this show, deserves a slap
in the face. what idiots will do these days to make money.

what is it with you muslims that prevent you from laughing at humor designed
to poke fun at your own religion? any muslim humor is taken as offensive. why
don't you boycott canada and burn down our embasies around the world now
(seems like the muslim way?).
every other religion has shows that poke fun at them:
-christianity - family guy etc etc etc - all over
-jews- borat
-hindu's- the kumars at 42 and goodness gracious me, van wilder etc
-sikh- goodness gracious me, this hour has 22 minutes (rajbinder character)etc
etc etc
you don't see any hindu's and sikhs going around and boycotting england and
suicide bombing anyone due to some humor intended to poke fun at the humorous
aspects of their religions. those 2 shows were/still are hits.
grow some thicker skin. with muslims its either their way or the highway. omg
i'm offended omg omg omg this show is a disgrace - plz stfu.
now excuse me while i go draw a cartoon mohammed, jesus, ganesh, guru nanak,
abraham etc etc - funny how people will only get offended at the mohammed
drawing.
btw: this show was so promising in the commercials but it has been a total
disapointment so far.
funnier than ep 102 i guess!
should mention, it's a hard show for nawaz; it should be funny but not offensive
and that is almost impossible on the long run if the show is to survive,
otherwise what would sarcasm, satire & humor mean!
to people with zero sense of humor: a bit of cheering up won
tell me what's so funny about making fun of people's religions? i'd love to
laugh as well, so go on, and while you're at it, tell me what you get out of
doing it? i personally wasnt offended by the whole cartoon thing. just cause
some dumbass wants to pretend to be picasso for a day and draws a hideous
picture and decides to title it muhammed, doesnt make the picture our prophet.
muslims dont make fun of other religions, we dont necessarily agree with your
beliefs, but we dont make fun of your beliefs. of course i dont speak for all
muslims, so if there are some who make fun, at least they have the decensy not
to print it in the papers or make a movie or tv-show out of it. i believe the
word for this is respect. something non-muslims and i'm guessing neither of
you are muslim, seem to have any understanding of.
i'm all for letting the world know what islam is really about. but by creating
a "comedy" show portraying false images of islam, is not quite the way to go
about it. if there are idiots who want to make easy money by making a fool of
themselves in front of the cameras, then by all means, i couldnt care less
what they do. only that they leave my religion out of it, cause in the end
idiots like yourselves will start generalising and believing that this is how
things are run at a mosque and how muslims in general behave. this show does
not reflect either of the two.
so tone down the melodramtic behaviour, especially you flappyduck. go draw
whatever the fuck you want.
peace!
the creator of the show is a practicing muslim. and there are 1.3 billion
muslims in the world. so perhaps your views and practices aren't the only ones
there are in islam.
and the show isn't making fun of islam. what its trying to do is to show muslims
in everyday life, which is something good seeing as every other muslim on tv is
either a terrorist on 24 or some some whackjob in the news.
so why don't you get a sense of humor and learn to laugh, because if you can't
laugh at yourself, then the world is pretty bleak place.

exactly.
explosion, maybe you should stick to al-jazeera tv because some of us find it
funny to poke fun at each other. oh no they are associating humour with islam,
i am so offended.
the show isn't even bloody funny because of fear that people like yourself
would get "offended". go stick your political correctness up your ass because
you do nothing but perpetuate the radical side of organized religion.
oh perhaps they should stop showing muslim suicide bombers on the news, that
isn't what islam is about now is it? does seeing that offend you as well?
"tell me what's so funny about making fun of people's religions?"
and there we have the problem. they make fun of muslims, not islam. your
inability or unwillingness to distinguish between the two is the source of your
confusion.
do you honestly believe that there are no comedy shows on tv in muslim
countries? no shows at all that poke fun at various segments of the population,
including clerics?
"something non-muslims and i'm guessing neither of you are muslim, seem to
have any understanding of."
assume and judge all you want, but i am a muslim. grew up in saudi arabia,
even. went to the same school with and hung out (outside school) with yasir qadhi.
and yet, somehow, did not fail to develop a sense of humor.
"only that they leave my religion out of it, cause in the end idiots like

really, the most offensive thing here is your wish to commit an act of physical
violence against the show's creater. justify that, why don't you?
