perhaps if they had drawn comparisons between the past and future by focusing on story lines in both
eras, or flashbacks of their lives leading up to the trip to the past, this series would be more
interesting.

perhaps we should all give it a chance. i thoroughly enjoy the show and assume there will be a build
up as it goes along. remember stargate, sg1 & atlantis, primeval and others, they all started off
slowly.

when i watched the first show on tv it went for two hours and included 35 minutes of ads plus the
popups which really turned me off. then i watched it the following night without them and a what a
difference.

if you don't like it, don't watch it or knock it. just remember spielberg is involved with this one
and anything he is involved in is ok with me.

even though it is spielberg i have been enjoying this show. i have found it much better than
'falling skies' which i found dead boring. i felt no empathy for the characters in that show, they
could all have gotten mashed up by those big robots and i wouldn't have cared.
i do find myself taking an interest in these characters, so i will continue watching. whoever said
it would be good to have flashbacks to their old lives is right that would make it more interesting.

i surpose i should put this on. while the first episode grabbed my attention (well first and second)
the third was .. par for the course in terms of boring typical no sub plot twaddle - flying buggers
that kill you. ok..

if it continues to be one off silly stories, even with dinosaurs et al, it will flop.

outcasts was much better in terms of telling the same story, and it was canned after what, 10 episodes?

12 maybe? i dunno, i dont think they finished the season and just left us bereft yet once more of a
fulfilling story.

should i put any effort into this, i know it will be silenced. as all shows are, with far better
stories and acting.

ahh but what the hay, hey... hey!

this show is going to be another eureka?

its not that that this show likes to take its time doing things, its the things that bug me.

"2 awkward teens dating, a cop trying to find his way, a doctor thats always comes up with a solution. "

this show is anything but a sci-fi series. its a mix of done-to-death series with dino dressing.
this was the last episode i will torture myself with.

this episode was freaking stupid and predictable. not to mention the acting. what is amusing is that
some people get a lot of money to write these things.

i'm not sure what it is exactly you guys want from a sci-fi. nearly every sci-fi tv show ever made is thus;
headstrong pro-tag, clever scientists/doctors, romantic subplots.

star trek was nothing but season after season of very silly episodes where they always find a solution with
the only awesome episodes being the finales, stargate was the same but with more shooting and lowbrow
humor, and bsg was the same people, complaining about the same things, over and over while stuck
inside the same ship for however many godawful seasons there were.

imo, and that is all it is, this show has a lot of potential to be something in the middle of eureka and sg:a.
which sounds perfect for me.

this show has nothing on startrek.

i'm normally a very easy to please viewer and was very optimistic going in, even after the first few
episodes but the past two have left scars that i won't get past easily. the next episode is going to have to
be seriously awesome or i'll probably just give it up for dead.
