shucks. for a second there i was getting my hopes up for some new twin peaks-ish surreal type of show.

something really irks me about every new show that has come out.

they could all pretty much be the same.

single parent, troubled teenager, something odd goes on, was it suicide, is it super powers?

and in the end, they're all tripe.

baloney, are the new writers of two and a half men writing all the new shows???

if wash is in it, then it deserves a chance to be seen at least once.

absolutely agree. wash deserves the benefit of the doubt imo as well.

not really specifically a reply to anyone but i've been excited about this show since i heard about it.
watched it tonight and now i'm excited for next week. funny, a bit edgy and somehow unique despite a
pretty familiar premise - fish out of water types try to adjust. i thought it was well written and well acted all
around. can't wait for next week. hope it does well. my favorite new comedy by far.

i wasn't at all interested in the description but there's not a lot else i'm interested in today so
i figured i'd give it a look and was very surprised - its definitely going on my list.

correct me if i'm wrong, but that's utterly irrelevant.

i'm not usually into comedies but i checked this out and had some good laughs.

one thing though. i wish the writers had come up with a better reason for them moving to the suburbs
than finding condoms. it make the dad look totally stupid because:

1) would he rather she was going to have sex without condoms and end up a hiv+ teenage mother?

2) did he honestly think that suburban teenagers are less likely to have sex than urban kids?

their free market research on their new or current shows from? i'll give you a small clue if you

so...still technically a consumer...just giving market research data instead of zombifying in front
of their 'words from sponsors'.

i don't create tv or have the skills or inclination to learn the skills to create tv, but i know
what is a good show or a bad show despite my lack of creation of a tv show.

suburban teenagers are just as likely to have it off as urban teenagers, it's just that the suburban
teens will come home with leaves and twigs wedged up their arse, where the urban kids will come home
with puke and dirty needles up theirs instead!

suburban shagging wins every time!

acting needs a little improvement (the girl) but i found the show very funny!
