i guess that would explain the disney/high school musical casting.

so if someone thinks that there was way too much drama in outcasts, coupled with horrible acting,
then he should pass on this one?

i have to agree with both of you -just watched it and its the same clich

it was a 2 hour premiere... hence it being 700mb rather than 350mb.

and there seems to be a lot of critiquing by people who haven't watched it yet; i realise it's a
novel concept but wouldn't it be a good idea to actually watch the show first and then give your
opinion.

.......anyone remember the series earth 2 ?? different planet, but same concept.
it fell by the wayside just when it began to have potential. i hope this series doesn't wait
to get good until it's too late like earth 2 did. once you lose too many viewers the ratings
will cut you off at the knees.

first problem earth 2 series had with it is that all these people were escaping from a dying
planet ( earth ) but they never showed it. leaves you guessing what was going wrong there.
second problem is that the show insisted that the humanoid form is ideal to swim thru dirt.
third is that any villain while escaping a dying world would betray his own race and help aliens
he doesn't even know in a bid for grabbing power........you'd have to be insane. i'm sure any
space program would be glad to evacuate a lunatic rather than someone worthwhile.......

i could go on and on...........

point is, a lot of concepts for interpersonal relations have been done to death, usually in soap
operas, so we probably won't see anything original but we may see something good, presented
in a whole new way. if, however they end up resurrecting the sleestak from land of the lost
i'm tuning out........

pretty average show imho, crap acting, especially from the lead male actor and a very predictable plot.
i won't bother watching anymore episodes.

thought this show was really good! too many wannabe tv critics imo! what were some of you
miserable haters expecting i honestly can't see what??? go back to your reality tv if you don't like
show like this!

they went back in time?

i though it was a different planet.

haven't watch the whole thing yet but, seems kinda self defeating to travel back in time to a point before
the massive extension event that killed all the dinosaurs. i think i'd rather stay on the environmentally
hazardous earth, at least it has cable and internet porn, so what if i have to wear a breathing mask. i'd rather be there than waiting for a massive asteroid to hit that blacks out the sun.

you'd want to hope that wormhole isn't anywhere near texas either because the k/t extinction event impact site was mexico.

meh, didn't think much of it. the cast is a living clich

everyone seems to pick on the cast here but i blame the director, they have a huge role in the whole
casting process and the way it's filmed/cut-together is also pretty bad. the script would probably work just
fine with decently charismatic delivery and careful direction. seems to me the show is being let down by
the man behind the camera, also i can't fault 2nd rate actors, they should never have been put in that
position to begin with but you can't blame them for taking a job like that if it's offered to them.

i liked it. its got potential and looks good.
several reviewers appear to have missed key points to the plot and story.
dracusis, they didnt just go back in time, the daughter explained it to her older brother while they
looked at the probe, she said that it was an alternate time line.
and bertoberto, there is no ancient civilisation. mira and the other guy talked about the markings at the
end of the episode, talking about the "crazy bastard" who kept coming and leaving them for "him" to
see. obviously "the crazy bastard" is taylors missing son, who we are told is some scientist.

i thought the acting was okay for a pilot episode, hell go back and look at any of the hit t.v. series and
the pilot is always poorly acted. anyhow, obviously room for improvement. and i hope it gets the
chance, as i think it will be quite enjoyable. greatly look forward to the next episode.

i agree. i honestly don't know what everyone else was expecting from it, but imo the show is great.

not perfect, great. even if there are some flaws (like too much teen crap, or mediocre acting by someone
in the cast), still it is enjoyable and the story is fascinating. i even liked the bad military guy from avatar.

since it probably killed everything bigger than a mouse (or at least anything who cant protect
himself under earth, in water, etc) on the entire planet, it doesnt really matter if you are in
texas or in australia 😛


as for the show, i liked it; not the show of the year but i like it so far, like i liked outcast.



ps: you cant compare it to game of thrones though; it's two different genre and game of thrones got
a great story/books behind it and probably not the same amount of cash either ^^

show is amazing, i really sat on the edge of my chair for 1.30 hour.
i love the dinosaurs and that commander guy, hes awesome.

good story overall. hope the sixes dont get much to do in the serie, i rather see them built stuff and kill
