imdb plot summary:
a teenage boy named paul is haunted by apocalyptic dreams that nobody can explain. as if that
weren't terrifying enough, he begins to see spirits of the dead, known as the fades, all around him.
the fades can't be seen, smelt, heard or touched by other humans. when an embittered and vengeful
fade, polus, finds a way to be human again, it's up to paul to stop him - and all of the dead - from
breaking back into the world and destroying the human race. written by bbc publicity

this was fantastic.

the show's synopsis doesn't do this justice imo. it's a rather dark drama punctuated with moments of
humour portrayed by a (mostly) believable cast with a decent mix of charisma and (perhaps more
importantly) frailty/vulnerability which works well to carry the show's dark and dank back-alley-london
horror/thriller undertones. as for the plot synopsis, it seems to be less about some kid and his unique
ability and more about an impending apocalypse or macabre supernatural war. the opening episode really
pushes that "on the cusp of war" vibe and it works well to draw you into the mystery.

perhaps one of the more unique supernatural/scifi shows i've seen in some time. production values and
photography were good, not to many cheap horror-clich

for a season premiere, thats probably the best i have seen out of all the new shows... like the
walking dead, this had me from the start. definitely worth a watch if your into the supernatural
genre... this one is dealing more with life, death and the in between and the struggle of moving on
or staying stuck here.
thank god there is something worth to watch from the new batch and aghwight its bwitish 🙂
