without flashing the flesh? if i have to watch another sex scene where the woman wears a t-shirt or
keeps her bra on i think i'll... i'll... i'll probably impotently vent my annoyance in another

without having seen the pilot, the parents television council condemned the playboy club, calling it
a "blatant attempt to obliterate any remaining standards of broadcast decency".[19] ptc accused
comcast of going back on the agreement it made with federal regulators while negotiating its
purchase of nbcuniversal not to broadcast "pornographic material" over the public airwaves.[6] the
ptc also sent letters to every nbc affiliate, asking them not to air the playboy club.[20]

so is it worth watching or not?

i believe i'll venture forth and watch this - has potential. will probs be crap but

i like how so many of you are condemning it without actually watching it. i, on the other hand, actually
watched the first episode before forming an opinion - and i thought it was actually pretty good. if you like
mad men and/or boardwalk empire, you'll probably enjoy this. it's got a good cast, a great set, great music
and fantastic costumes. definitely one to keep watching.

now how about the rest of you toads actually give it a try before you throw your opinions down?

totally agree with you nerdfury and if it's anything like mad men, enough said...!

plus, why would you pass on a free download to see if it's good enough to your standard and wait to
buy it on dvd? something here doesn't make sense. i for one, will download this free episode, see if
it's good or not and then will consider if it's good enough to spend my hard earned money to buy it on
dvd. i realize some of you are limited to download and internet is not cheap, but buying dvd are most
certainly not cheap either... just saying... 🙂

sadly this show bombed. not even 6 million people watched it so we'll be lucky to even get a second
episode... shame cause i was really looking forward to it...

i facepalmed. no one actually said anything about buying the dvd... just saying. i will also wait
for the dvd release, so i can download the unedited show.

whatever... i thought it was very good and i'm hoping that they won't cancelled this series too soon.

not sold yet, the acting is good so it may develop as the story unfolds.
