the message for today is dont mess with a good story. the characters and plot were far off the mark in
the screen adaptation and most fans probably got lost trying to find any resemblance to the books. why
do these executives not get every new series to make a conclusion episode with every new series. at
least then we would not have to wonder what would have happened. i cannot count the number of
series i have just got into when they are canned. not all shows are blockbusters out of the gate some
grow on you and it is so frustrating when they do not finish it properly. it seems tpo me that any
wholesome cleancut show like chloe king is a non starter. all the shows that get renewed seem to have
either extreme violence or un-necessary sex and nudity.ie. true blood, spartacus, torchwood etc. have
we become so cynical that decent family viewing is disregarded.
i'm really glad the lying game got renewed, each episode so far has been very intriguing and attention
catching while with chloe king after the premiere i forced myself to watch more episodes but after 4 i
ended axing it myself.
i rather liked chole king, not very original but it was not afraid to kill of people (or were they?)
i've never seen the books it was baed on so i can't compare it to them, but on it's own it was
rather good.
but i only just managed to get through "pretty little liars 2" (sorry "the lying game") first
episode. it was slow, terrible and boring! even the good looking girls could not save it!!
pll/tlg same writer, same premise, one trick pony anyone??
