Stargate atlantis HD 700MB rips and vlc

when ever i play the 700mb rips of sga on vlc media player the video is really
dark and its impossible to watch but as soon as i play it on media player the
video is fine. how can i fix this?

adjust the brightness of your monitor or in vlc (settings/extended gui)
