yes, nuked on some sites for audio distortion thoughout. more or less audible
depending on the player you use though. oddly enough this is one time vlc does
the worst at playing a file, most static heard with it, though static and
distortion was also audible using divx player bundled with the codec, winamp,
and was pretty much clean when playing with wmp, powerdvd, and gom player.
i found the audio was strange and slightly static before the opening credits but
found it cleared somewhat afterwards. it'll certainly do me till the dvds are
released - needs to be a lot worse to be worth a re-download imo.
but if you don't have it yet you might want to wait and see if there's a proper.
it wasn't that bad of a release. the only thing annoying was that durrrring
sound in the background all the time. it was both in this version and the hr
version, so i am not sure if the problem is at my end or not. it came and went
in the episode. it may have been soundeffect added intentionally.. idk. i have
however never had that kind of a problem before. it could be that i used a
headset, which i rarely do.
good episode, too. actually one of the better alternate universe/dream/memory
loss/whatever kind of episode.

*****spoiler warning*****
i think that's the sound of the dog growling that clark keeps hearing that
eventually makes him realize the truth.
the noise throughout the episode is normal. it's a freakin' background music
intended to convey the idea that something's not right...
didn't notice anything wrong with the rest of the sound, so i'd say don't bother
downloading another version if you're just a casual viewer, as this one's okay.

as for the sound, 3-4 times the low end noise distortion made my speakers and
sub pop badly
as for the episode.. . . if u havent already, don't bother, it will bore you
to tears and if it wasn't for the memory of justice, turn me off smallville
forever
are you insane? why would it bore any smallville fan?
this episode was really really good and a real contribution to the
smallville/superman storyline!
*** spoiler ***
the last episode, as well as this one introduces vital players from the justice
league. the "martian manhunter" is the one that really was missing in the last
episode. this episode greatly shows how superman needs other players to survive
in the universe.
i'll say this episode was very nice, and a typical justice league one at that!
