ya know, i like this.

i never thought the premise would sit. i didn't even bother with the aussie one but will now, but
with this one, it's actually refreshing to see they didn't muck up the main character. at least,
wilfred appears as ocker as larry, and for that i am glad.

you don't see many yobbos in yank sitcoms... not ones that are not cheesed up to the nth degree just
because uncle sams little nephew doesn't understand the funny humor.

i think in attempting to justify the premise to us audiences, they actually gave the show a proper
introduction.

i mean, it was just an sbs show about a pot smoking dog - albeit a guy in a dog suit.

sbs is known here for it's superior shit even at the best of times...

definitely have to get a gander at it, before i let the us version become the place of the original.

if you ever find the aussie version i'd like to know where i could get it.

i just downloaded the first and second seasons of the australian version via demonoid. pretty sure
kickass torrents has them too.

i've never seen the original made in australia but this us version is friggin hilarious. i laughed my ass
off. i think i'll check out the original over at demonoid as you mentions.
