Lawrence Fishburne Departs from CSI

glad he's leaving. character had no sense of humour, tho lb is a great actor, just a poorly written role

outstanding news. i hated langston more each week, and the way the show revolved around his
holier-than-thou, boring, sourpuss character. in fact, i stopped watching in the middle of the
second-to-last show of the season (during the godawful nate haskell taunts ray for the thousandth
time storyline), and decided then and there that i'd had enough of csi.

i'll wait to hear what the writers are doing this fall before i decide to give it another chance,
however. even without langston, the show has slipped pretty far with its silly storylines and awful
characters like hodges getting so much screentime.

i know it's not fresh news, but it hadn't been posted here yet.
i read a few tv blogs, but i prefer the commenter community that's here at eztv, so i wanted to see
some of the comments from our users.

well at least they have a way to get rid of the charactor that makes sense, since he killed nate. they
can put him in prison, and forget about him... cept for maybe some guest appearances.

again could i ask people not to bother posting a comment if pretty much all you're going to say is
"old news"! it's not old news to a lot of us, most of us depend on the contributors to fill us in on
noteworthy stories, even if some of them do come a bit late! can't you just pat yourself on the back
without having to clutter up the comments section??? not that big a deal i suppose, but it gets a
little annoying after awhile.....
