total bummer. i disagree with joekill162. this season of us of tara has been the best and most interesting
yet, b/c of the addition of eddie izzard and delving deeper into the many different taras. it's also gets a
little creeper and more suspenseful. doesn't make a lot of sense as to why they're cancelling it either if
nurse jackie has pretty much the same ratings. i think it's b/c of the star power of edie falco, who is
fantastic, but the show itself is getting rather slow plot wise, whereas us of tara's plot is really picking up.
oh well, another good show bites the dust:(

what???? no!!!! ☹️ i like nurse jackie, but come on....i thought tara was way more entertaining. toni
collette has been awesome. if they had to cancel one, it should have been nj, imo. damn ☹️

i love tara i have all three seasons and think its fabulous why cancel a great show? seems all the decent

i couldnt believe it when i read it. this season is really taking off and i dont understand how nj
(of all shows) can be chosen over it. like kelchild said, toni colette's performance has been
outstanding! i'm writing a strongly worded letter to showtime.

what started out as a show with great potential to show what it's really like to be multiple and to
dispel all the cliche myths, they failed miserably, they couldn't even get the basics right from the
first episode. meds do not stop multiples from switching. the correct term is 'switching, not
'transition'.
although the first season had a lot of subtleties, that those in the know would recognise, in the
end, no-one wanted education, they wanted entertainment.... so they got entertainment, devoid of any
reality, devoid of facts, reinforcing stereotypes that multiples are dangerous and should be locked
up. the entire show changed focus from what life is like for tara in season 1, to focus on max's
perspective 90% of the time in season 2 onwards. 'how do you live with such a freak'..... get mad,
yell, smash abandon and act like to total bastard.
once again, another show that had potential down the drain. saw it coming from season 1 and now....
what a waste. toni collette didn't even bother to talk to any multiples to prepare for the role, she
based her performance purely on her interpretation biased by bad depictions and her own imagination
combined with what was writtten by the so-called 'experts' who think they know it all. they don't.
and the 'did consultant' even admits she doesn't have did, she has ddnos (the title of her book)
which is a term meaning it doesn't fit any of the listed dissociative disorders in the manual.
how sad that people want to see the freak show, ranter than understand what thay are watching.
multiples are the current 'in-thing' in freak shows'. it's insulting and i expected much better from
a steven spielberg production
