stargate isn't filmed in 720p to begin with. i downloaded a few a few months
ago, and while the intro *is* in glorious 720p, the show itself appears to be
the next res down. pity, as sg is the most deserving show of 720p (or more).
this is one & the same "the road not taken" as the other one from the other
day.. just hdtv instead of the ws-ptv which imho isnt that great of quality
greetings. does anyone know why hasn't been released 350mb hdtv rip of stargate
atlantis - season 3 - episode 18 - submersion aired 2 days ago on canadian
movie central channel yet? or at least 700mb hr hdtv which is btw absolutely
useless for all those who use hardware dvd players of all kinds due to
excesivelly high resolution (960x544) so it can be played solely on computer
which is not exactly comfortable for lot of users. every table dvd player or
recorder is able to play '.avi' files at 720x576 resolution tops. not higher.
so whoever makes these hr hdtv rips please take this into account in your
future enconding works. currect and only version available of sa-s03-e18-
submersion is preposterous and ridiculous. its quality is so bad that it might
be considered for vhs rip. picture and sound both. nevertheless it's not a
fake. the file is real. also would be prudent to release only episodes with
checked sync. i'd wish to impress on everyone that 350mb hdtv rip (720x416)
would be most appreciated by plenty of eager users. thank you for acknowledging
this.
could you please use the enter key in your next post?
the reason it isent on eztv is simple,
eztv puts out scene releases and there hasent been a scene release of sg-a ep 18
the scene has no communication channels so the only time you can read why the
release got delayed is when you already have the file and they bothered to put
it in the nfo (dont count on that)
every table dvd player or
recorder is able to play \'.avi\' files at 720x576 resolution tops. not higher.
so whoever makes these hr hdtv rips please take this into account in your
future enconding works.
quite a few people have some form of media center pc these days that can be
easily hooked up to a hdtv, or you can stream them with various devices for the
average pc. i prefer to stream to my xbox 360 for example.
not got a divx hd player then, notice the hd, xvid players may be stuck in the
past but divx has moved on, if you nip over to "private sites" you find films in
720p and higher taking up 4.4 gb of dvd. these players can also have wifi and
ethernet ports built in. if you don't keep up with technology you will at some
point get left behind.
when the format war between hd-dvd and bd actualy realy starts over which will
be the new re-recordable format in pcs, you may get left behind even more.
is anyone else getting connection error timeouts for tracker status on this
seed? i've never had problems dl before today. ditto for the other two
versions of this episode. other torrents working fine.
