i know...i know. is it the appalling taste of the general public to blame? clearly there weren't enough
dumb slags with prosthetic assets in this show to enable it to survive.
it really is a shame. fox kills off another awesome show. there is a fan campaign to save it. they saved southland, i'm
crossing my fingers that this isn't the end for the chicago code. sign the petition! http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/keep-
chicago-strong-save-the-chicago-code/
i'm becoming of the mind that the people who watch the shows i like are too sophisticated (and
perhaps busy) to be a nielsen household or other measurable statistic of "who is watching the show".
hence the shows end up on the chopping block, because as far as advertisers and "honchos" are
concerned, no one is watching.
then again maybe mrs. cee has it right, and any audience we can muster for a properly concieved
show simply pales in comparison to the onslaught of advertising dollars that can be brought in by telling
random people off the street that they can't sing, or displaying an italian-american's abdomen.
