just download both hdtv and 720p versions and look for yourself.
the hdtv looks blury when upscaled to full screen resolution while the 720p
looks crystal clear since it needs no upscaling at all (the horizontal
resolution is exactly the same as the native resolution of most 17" & 19" tft
monitors).
if your screen can display the extra lines, it definitely worth downloading the
hd version.
vlc is playing those files. however, i cant move forward or backward, it causes
it to crash. do i need some filters (ffdshow) or extra decoders (coreavc)?
i second the last poster's reccomendation. though i personally opt to replace
the choice of mpc with the actual wmp v11. they're both directshow players, so
it's no different. def need the haali and coreavc (cyberlink h.264 can also
play these, if you have powerdvd 7 you get that filter).
hey fellas,
i'd like to know if i can watch 24 in 720p format on my macbook pro.
i've read some posts saying that this particular file cannot run on mac. at the
same time others said vlc is the best app to watch it. as you know there's a vlc
version for mac, so i was just wondering...
my pc hardware (p4, 3.0 ghz with onboard graphics card + 19" samsung display)
seems to poor to let me fully apreciate the 720p format. what about the mac?
