i got it and it was bad. gspot couldn't even tell what to do with it so i
stopped seeding it. anyone else having the same issue? or am i having hard drive
failure or something? not to discourage eztv from distroing these, though. but
maybe ez could consider skipping hr for 720p? i got a 1080i rip of this that was
great, if that helps.
i just watched this. it was fine.
"it was bad" - what does that mean?
not sure how a hard drive failure would have anything to do with this
episode "being bad"
if you got a 1080i rip of this why do you want the hr one too?
if this rip was nuked it would say so here: h**p://www.orlydb.com/search.php?
category=tv&search=heroes but it doesnt.

i don't see how i could be any clear about that or do you not know what gspot is?
my downloading is 95% automated. it gets what it gets, software parses the
incoming stuff, dowloads metadata and when i sit in front of one of my htpcs i
just click play. my box got the 1080 rip, and 3 hr rips. this was one of them. 2
of them were this same rip but from different sources (one from nntp). that one
played fine, eztv's didn't. its why i mentioned a drive issue and asked for
confirmation when answering the previous person's post. because i've been having
issues and when you download gigs of crap a day, the hds take a pounding.
your post curb71 provided good info, so thanks, but theres no need to be an
asshole about it. but if it makes you happy, its cool, i enjoy the occational
feeding of snarky assholes on message boards.
the quality was nice and i really appreciate whoever encoded this so quickly for
us.
i would however like to add that perhaps that all the encoders stick to
default / standard resolutions. why not just encode these files to be compatible
with standard ess / mtk dvd players right from the start 🙂
please think about stuff like this as you are already doing this for the masses.
a couple clicks on your end saves me hours on mine!!! 🙂 ❤️
