let's be honest - even hardcore fans can admit that the show jumped the shark a long time ago.
the show's format has become incredibly formulaic, almost (but not always) predictable.
i think this show really should get the ending it deserves, not a kutner-style send-off. (yes, i'm
still bitter about that.)

this show should have ended years ago. it's been on a slide since season 3 and if you visit the
house community fan board at fox you can practically see the tumbleweeds blowing through, it's that
deserted.

house is still a show that is good for an occasional laugh due to hugh laurie's acting skills. and
there still are some good episodes today.

but that's about it ... the show's format has worn off over the years, turning house into another
medical procedural.

in my opinion, they should either

a) give it a decent ending with season 8 (i can think of a lot of things that would be awesome, like
house granting thirteen a mercy killing) or

b) try to re-invent the show with really fresh ideas.

anything else would be a boring and painful death ...

yeah this show has gotten so bad. i guess they just ran out of ideas for good medical mysteries. i also
think they aren't writing house correctly. a lot of contradictions with his character.

this is another show that should end this season.

house has lost some of its shine, but it's still a good show, compared to alot of junk out there..

let it go in glory with a good planned ending rather than extend it and ending it in misery without a proper
ending(i'm looking at you heroes)

i still enjoy the show, and i dont think its declined in quality or gotten more predictable than
would be expected for any procedural show. that said, i wouldnt be horrified if they ended it. 8
seasons is a damn good run... everything ends at some point.

i need this show to continue it is the life blood of my torrenting the reason i started... although
i understand the reasoning behind it if it does end at 8 years i'll be inconsolible for a time but
it will leave a giant hole in my bandwidth...

it is a good show, and it has run it's course, but when the contracts run out, it would be a pretty
good idea to just end it. it was a great idea, and it's been on a long time now. we'll be sad
another series has ended, but hopefully something new will come on that will be good, but that isn't
terribly likely.

great show, the actors do a great job. with that said it has gotten predicable and bland. i say call
it, it was a great run and a good show but the writers really let it get away from them.
