first terriers, and now this. shawn ryan creates terrific, intelligent shows. no, chicago code wasn't of
the calibre of the shield, but it was still infinitely superior to...practically everything else on offer! i
mean, the glades gets renewed, and terriers is cancelled??? the glades?!? that show is total bollocks,
in spite of matt passmore doing a fine job. does everything have to have csi in its name to survive, or
be another god-awful forensic procedural? shawn, don't be discouraged. keep up the great work; i for
one will maintain the rage!

i feel the same way about human target. but this is the network that cancelled firefly, after all.

breaking in is really not much of a surprise - i described it as "a show about geeks, produced by
people who understand nothing about computers".
i enjoy the overall plots, but can't stand whenever they try to do something technical (there was
one scene where the main character offers to clean up a girl's registry, which he does in about 5
seconds, leaning across the table.)

and re:house -
http://tvseriesfinale.com/tv-show/house-season-eight-19855/
pretty much implies that the actors took a pay cut for this season, that ratings are slipping, and
season 8 might be the final season (but if i understand correctly, hugh laurie has signed for 3 more
years, this does not bode well for the show ending smoothly, probably more of an awkward
cancellation ending.)

i was under the impression that lie to me was getting good ratings, but i don't really follow news.
but it was on netflix instant play!

d: i'm really going to miss this show.

networks really need to start looking into all the facts for viewers, not just what get's watched on
that first air on that first day, that rarely any person really has the rememberance to say "hey!
this is on!" when they've missed part of it already.

with all these fast food type shows out there, networks seem to forget shows need time to develope and the loyal following
will pay dividends in the end. fox should really know this between firefly and family guy.

i really liked human target and lie to me ... what a shame. i would have liked to get more insight
into the previous life of christopher chance ...

i sometimes wonder why a clearly mainstream-oriented network like fox even tries to take on shows
that are not reality tv or standard police/medical procedurals.

loved human target and loved the chicago code, would be nice if they at least let us have some closure with proper
endings to these shows. breaking in i watched but wasn't too surprised at the news, every show bret harrison is ever in
seems to get cancelled. i still wish fox would bring back terriers! bunch of idiots in my opinion!

i love lie to me, and the chicago code is a great show!!! i agree totally that the stations forget
that it takes time to develop followers and for the actors/actresses to get into their rolls
fully... i never watched human target though, so i can't comment on that.

hardly surprised by any of the cancellations....

breaking in... have been watching it don't really care - hope odette finds a new show though.
chicago code... found it pretty bad and stopped watching
human target... very disappointed, loved this show
traffic light... again i've been watching this but not invested in it
lie to me... extremely disappointed, this show was awesome (damn u fox!)

finder... the backdoor pilot was kinda boring, not sure about this at all.
new girl... haven't heard anything
alcatraz... if jj hits gold again it could be great, but could be garbage.

house... it's best if the show goes out while it's still predominately well liked and the cast can
use that popularity. drag it out and the cast tends to go down with the ship... though hugh and
olivia will undoubtedly get in a lifeboat regardless. 🙂
