...i used to wonder how people like hitler, jim jones, etc got ordinary people to committ such horrific
acts but now i'm getting a better understanding. the problem is some people never mature mentally
and they possess this sheep-like mentality where they will blindly follow anyone they view as an
authority figure.
sadly these people will always outnumber those who possess critical thinking and look at things
objectively.
...but i'm done. hopefully this mess will be on the back pages by monday.

a.) me? no, it didn't cost me anything as an american citizen. we don't pay taxes to the crown. but
it did cost the citizens of the uk more than 20 million pounds.
b.) it's been on every single channel for the whole day and the last 2 or 3 days previous.
technically i am being forced to watch it.
c.) privilege by title is a crime against humanity. who is so special that they can't touch anyone
without gloves and mandate that everyone must wave as if they were completely retarded? answer: the
entire royal family.
it's not often i am proud to be an american, but today is one of those days i am indeed proud not to
have a monarchy. and apparently most of your country agrees. that might explain why there are so
many british people marrying into us citizenship.

being objective is always a good idea, checking your facts is a must.
the facts are:
a royal wedding took place. a fair portion of which was paid for by the queen, and the middletons.
most people in the uk were given a day off work because of this event.
the nation, and a fair amount of people from all over the world, decided for themselves whether to
enjoy the occasion or not.
