wow, i really like this mini series! so i bought the book it is based on.

but now i am in doubt: read the book first, and wait to watch the last episode until i've finished
the book (i did watch the first three). or just watch this episode, and then read the book... any
advice from someone who read the book?

i've read the book a while back and honestly do not remember how it ended. this is not a detective story
that you watch or read to discover what happens - the storyline is fairly cliche. the book was memorable
for the ambience it created, the detailed description of mundane daily routine of the time period it is set in,
the characters' reasoning and internal life. you do not get those things from the tv adaptation.
imho, you can finish watching the series and enjoy the book on a whole different level.

what happened to ep 3 & 4 ?
