i find the people that watch himym dont like this show, but the people who dont like it.
most big sitcoms have used the same storys over the years and himym has done some very close to
friends, but myself and some himym fans feel it a bit to soon to have a show take so many of the
storys and even some full lines and jokes,
i do watch both shows but always find my self missing barney when watcing mad love and not sure how
it can go on for more than 1 or 2 seasons without better writers now himym has got a 2 year pick up.
i'm also a fan of sarah chalke, judy greer and that guy that plays sok in 'reaper' (and jason biggs
doesn't annoy me too much)... but i just don't think they work as an ensemble.
the greer vs sok stuff is an okay dynamic... and sarah chalke is doing the best with the material she's
given. however, biggs is largely dull and unlikeable in this. of course, i felt the same way about the actor
that plays ted in how i met your mother, at first... i also find it really strange that jason biggs seems to be
in protagonist, while sok narrates... it's like the creators already knew that biggs was going to be
unlikeable (or that sok wouldn't be able to front a show)...
so, while i personally this is subpar to himym - and it's especially redundant for cbs to be producing and
airing the show, i think it has some promise of finding a groove of its own. they just better do it fast before
all the himym fans give it a shot only to decide to stick with himym.
