let's just hope that some of the rather crappy ideas (like soul magnets and such) will be dropped in
favor of some more gripping stories.

yeah, what's the sudden obsession about souls in sci-fi series, anyway? v's search of the soul in
order to erradicate it is another puzzling twist of events... i find it quite childish and hope
they'll be done with it asap! nonetheless, soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo relieved fringe got a full
4th season!!!

brilliant news,i'ts a great show with realy good actors,ok the soul thing is a bit silly but it was one way to
bring bell back well at least his voice..lol

i dont get how this show has lived for 4 seasons.. couldnt get past the second season. thought the story
was always so shitty.

hopefully they will move on with the main story line about their two worlds colliding and not have
filler episodes that do not contribute to the main story. that is my major complaint about this
series for the last two seasons.

season one moved along very briskly. seasons 2 and 3 tended to get mired in fillers! not cool
especially if you leave us with a cliffhanger and then play 3-4 filler episodes after that! makes me
feel the writers just don't care about their audience. so why should we care?

good to know it's coming back even with the low ratings.
fox needs to make up it's mind on what day to show it & leave it..i'm pretty sure every season got a
new day.

finally they don't cancel a show i like when ratings are getting a bit lower in the us

when would they realise that people d/l shows from all around the world and that their ratings system is
useless if they don't count that in !?

downloading doesn't count because advertising is not included. no advertisers, no funding = canceled.

i don't care what any of you turds say this show is titties.

if they were smart they would distribute hd copy freely on the net including whatever ads they
wishes , hell those ads would have more coverage than the ones on tv as they would likely be seen in
dozens of countries

would cover the distributing cost very easily if they used torrents as a mean of distribution , as
bandwith would be shared by every one dl-ing , but they would have to admit that torrents are not
evil ...

oh well 😐

what networks are truly afraid of is that everyone will just skip the ads by fast forwarding ...
downloadable content would surely feature some kind of user prohibited operation like with bd and
dvd ... or ads that play constantly during the content itself.

furthermore, networks and studios are afraid that bd and especially dvd sales would take a major hit
if tv shows were being made available as free downloads in hd ... studios would soon have to face
the fact that extras on dvd's are not worth the actual extra money.

i agree about the fastforwarding of ads , but people are already downloading tv shows anyway , so at
least that would not go to waste completely from their pov , they would have some return from that
part of the "market"

about the dvd sales , well , they are dead anyway , so skip dvd sales and straight to high quality
bd (full 1080p + hd audio) , people would not download that , too heavy , i think something like
720p net downloads and 1080p / hd-audio / extras / 3d? for physical release would make it worth
buying a bd set , of course once you end the production of dvd completly bds would become much
cheaper ...

networks would be happy as the're would be a return on downloads from advertising sector instead of
nothing , they would have accurate ratings from downloads , and they would be selling oood quality
bd (not talking about content , just quality of encoding etc) worth buying

that would also make all the tv / home theater / ... people happy as they will sell all their brand
new tv etc

but well , networks are greedy and clingy when it comes to the way they handle business , they'd
rather spend thousands on suing people than changing their business model
