think it'll get cancelled. could have been a good show, but the story is developing too slowly, a faster pace
more vs in their lizard skins and more action would have made it better.

too bad. but yeah they were pretty quick to renew it in the past so i can only assume that now they
have no intention to do so.

i don't think its a problem of pace or lizard skins, the subtext behind the plot became a tad sappy,
dealing with human emotions and relationship vs the lack thereof, its a very common theme. i was
more interested in the invasion part myself and what it actually means for mankind.

i still think its a good series though and even if the ratings in the us are not the greatest i don't think it
deserves to get cancelled as opposed to caprica ans sgu where cancellation didn't come as much of a
shock.

this is the 2nd series that i watched which abc pulls the plug on at the end of the second season so i
kind of wonder if its some recurring thing with american tv which kind of makes me think that its a
failing system, maybe they are better off doing what the japanese do which is taking a
manga(comics)/story that already proven itself to be popular with the public and adapting it for tv, if
the tv gets cancelled the viewers can usually still read the manga that doesn't get cancelled as easily..

having always a 2 season series as it is now just leaves things incomplete which sucks for everyone
because the license just ends up being locked away for 20 years..

it will probably get cancelled, ind i have to agree the whole human emotion thing is not the way i
would have liked to see things go. im more interested in why the v's reproduce this way, how it
started, other civilizations they've done this to etc..

what i dont agree with is the pacing being too slow. i actually think in some respects its been too
fast. mainly with the characters developing... its like they can do a complete 180 in 1-3 episodes.
i also dont need more action or more lizard screen time. i think those are fine where they are. i
dunno... i guess i just need more overall depth. it seems like they are constantly only skimming the
surface, and when they do actually try and go deeper it results in lameness.

sill i'll be sad to see it go if it is cancelled. its still one of the few shows i look forward to.
the number keeps dwindling...

caprica
sgu
flash forward
rubicon
outcasts
the event (likely)

at this rate there inst going to be much left thats not usa or hbo fare...

canned, the only reason they brought it back was because they were already axing another scifi show
on their network (flash forward)/

i like the v mythos but it hasnt been gone into much.
most of the show is substandard, i keep wanting to change the channel whenever a sappy human
interaction scene comes on.

would be such a bummer if they cancelled it.. i was just getting used to seeing some shirtless charles
mesure once in a while. and kraycek was there..

i really like the show, but as so many shows continue to do, they make their fans wait way too long
between gaps. i'm not talking about between seasons, but splitting a season into sections and making the
gap stupidly long. how do they not get that this is the reason for the ratings to drop and not recover?
dumb.

really all these companies wanting to cancel all these great shows, do they not realize that even if
it gets a bump in the road, so to say that word of mouth is the best way to get the show out. why
can't they make up their minds and stop stringing all the people that watch their shows, i mean
really look at home much it cost to make the show and how much your getting in return. if your
constantly loosing money sure get rid of it but why not keep the ones that are making some money and
when all the other shows are off the air what will people watch something they have seen before and
liked.

how do you think stargate sg-1 did for every episode i know that some episodes weren't great but
hell, i love stargate they should never taken it off the air.

people need to come together and create their own show me im thinking of idea's all the time just
write them down and who know it could be on tv some day.

hopefully it gets renewed, most people didn't think it
'd get a 2nd season but it did and with the addition of marc singer to the latest episode perhaps it will give abc the push it
needs to renew it after all if nothing they need something in the timeslot next year besides this showvis aesome and
deserves another chance.

i must admit, this new fad that networks have developed by stringing single episodes/seasons over
months and years is getting a little ridiculous. i think it's the reason why i'm starting to pull
away from mainstream tv. how can we be expected to follow a story or plot line, when we have
intermittent breaks and hiatuses? what happened to the good old days when shows like (for example)
star trek ds9 would have 22-24 episodes in a season, and play all the way through with perhaps a 2
week break tops? no wonder so few intricate shows reach 4+ seasons these days!

anyway, back on topic. i thought v had a pretty good start, and an excellent premise. but i found
the last few episodes of last season, and the first few episodes of this season completely mind
numbing. nothing of interest really happened. the characters failed to grow on me, despite plenty of
emotional and revealing scenes. the plot didn't really have any direction between episodes - and i
was left at one point feeling deja vu when the "gang" was hidden out in the basement talking about
anna this and v's that.... and never really drawing a decisive conclusion from their ramblings.

sidetracking again; laura vandervoort is extremely sexy! the scene with her semi-naked was worth
watching every episode of this absolutely positively mediocre show.

v would have been better as a 2 part miniseries to begin (like battlestar). that way, i reckon it
could have set much better foundations for the show to grow. but instead, the plot floundered around
like a headless chicken and the characters were neither appealing or relatable. let the show get
canceled. hopefully the budget could go in to something a little more promising.

simple answer

cancel everything with a loyal fan base .... or

introduce " v idol" when we can phone into vote every week on which of the v's will convert to christianity or alternitivly we can watch.....

" when anna attacks" as we watch the day to day fly on the wall docusoap of " bliss dealer" anna as
she hands out her drugs to small children and oriental hoo-mans.

all in all ... sci fi or psy-phi or how ever you want to call it these days, is a dying breed to low power tv like americas got idle talent.
there is a consistent in ratings of between 1-3mil for niche markets it seams, yet i think what lost did
was the best bet .. say " we are having 7 seasons ... this is what we are doing in those seasons and it
all leads to this event" every week was a cliff hanger so you couldn't help but tune in, but ultimately,
v will get cancelled at some point but also with things like time shifting and considering the channel we
have here ... shows are downloaded to watch on an international scale. maybe old methods of tv
broadcasting are as old fashioned as the music industry... would people watch a show if it were
streamed with adds with the adds being doctored to the national audience. i know i most likely would.
but lets be realistic, they arnt replacing these shows with better shows, they are replacing them with
drivel or reality vote in shows aka americas got talent, x factor american idol etc. or like the scfi
channel completely re branding and showing sports instead.

let us just have a show that you dont keep putting on hiatus for weeks on end, or splitting seasons in
half. dont like fringe move it out its spot .... hoping for it to die.
v is a good show just get more into plot than just a religious " is jack gonna sell god to anna" thing
every week ...

if they are thinking of canceling this show, which by the way they should not, they should at least create an
ending close to the original show.but as usual they will just drop it.

make a mini of a few episodes to give it closer .

did the old v even have an ending?

i hope it gets renewed you know the story is getting good now they are getting ready to invade and that's
cool.

if they cancel the show i hope they pick it up later and just start it off maybe after the v's have attacked
and enslaved humans and what not and just start it from where humans fight back.

bit lame to cancel...far worse shows that get renewed...and the raitings are not that bad..the fan base is
quiet huge as well its almost 1 mil on fb last time i checked...could be even more.

the show is great, s2 has picked up a lot of pace/action and i really do enjoy each episode.

show deserves atleast 1 more season to conclude the story properly.

well,

after watching last nights episode and without giving away spoilers to those that havnt watched it yet, i
can safely say with the death of quite a few of the main characters and more than one now missing i can
say that the exit of one original v cast member and the introduction of another ( mark singer) we only
have to wait for michael ironside to make an appearance and throw them in red jumpsuits and we will be
certainly onto a v revival.

all said and done, last nights episode was what everyone was waiting for .... action packed, only slight
moralistic high ground mumbo jumbo and we are waiting in anticipation for the next episode... but as i
believe its a 10 part season we never get to see the season 3 opener, but then again this is all
assumptions as there hasnt been news of it being cancelled only fear due to lowish ratings.

i say .... more of the same, yet i cant help feel that the massacre of last night is a change in the shows
direction with the pace picking up heavily.
