'BSG': Jamie Bamber Reunites with Ron Moore for NBC Pilot ’17th Precinct’

i'd give it a fair trial.
i thought bamber was already committed to law & order: uk.

another cop show who cares how about some sci fi

as did i, however with l&o uk having such short seasons, he can probably work around it.

isn't he on law&order:uk? how come hes doing pilots lately?

maybe related to what dick wolf did to law & order la? ( taking out 3 lead actors) does this mean he is
doing the same for l&o:uk?
or maybe hes doing a competition with katee sackhoff on who lands more boring crime drama leads?

i'm kind of surprised they didn't try to keep him on outcasts, i thought his performance there playing a
twisted psycho character was good so imo he can do more than just another cop show..

so can he do it? yes. would i watch it only cause hes on it? no, the show needs to be good and
_interesting_.

for crime dramas i only watch
bones (cause of the banter)
and law & order svu (cause its written well and the main characters really grow on me)
lie to me (though i really liked the show when it began it turned somewhat crappy this season)
psych(cause it sort of laughs at all of the above)
but each of these shows have their own twist on things while
csi(3 shows),ncis(2 shows),criminal minds,cold case etc are all pretty much the same thing in a
different package and they don't really add on anything special to that..

i think if he can afford to, hes better off trying for something with a new concept instead of throwing
himself at another crime drama which may or may not succeed in the cesspool of crimedrama shows.

finding a sci-fi production is rare nowdays since everyone want to play it safe and the syfy channel are
no longer a safe haven for sci-fi productions (seeing as how they dropped the axe on sgu and caprica)
