these stupid reality show have really messed up good television and nbc must have some morons in the
ratings dept and in the show dept to think that chase, the cape, journeyman and my own worst enemy
were bad shows. these reality shows suck bad and nbc needs there heads examined. no more stupid
reality shows.

quality tv is dying a slow and painful death. why are people watching stupid reality shows? what can
we expect to come in the future? reminds me of the movie 'idiocracy' - stupid tv producers pandering
to stupid viewers because of ratings. soon we'll only be watching shows like 'ow, my balls!'

i've never seen this show, but i think the number of show cancellations that have been happening
everywhere is proof that the neilson rating system they use it sorely outdated! it's a lack luster
system that doesn't come close to showing a programs real ratings.

today with satellite tv and affiliated stations the ratings have to be much higher than what their
current ratings shows. i live in canada, and even with basic cable i've got one dedicated nbc
channel and one that 'becomes nbc" at various times during the day. the same show appears on both
channels at the same time with the nbc logo, but at other times the second channel shows some
canadian channel logo.

affiliated channels viewers, non-neilson views, even dvr viewers (not everyone can be bothered to
fast forward through commercials) are all contributing to a shows popularity, but their ratings do
not count.

the current rating system is broken and that's why shows get cancelled and will continue to do so.

well,what can i say.
people like to watch programs in a series ,like once a week.
but there are loads of programs aired on us tv that are not.
i think this is why programs like chase lose there ratings.
over the past year chase,smallville,vampire diaries,human target,hawaii five 0,the defenders,v and
many more programs all have had less than normal showing.
how is anyone suppose to follow a tv program if they don't know when it is being shown.
also more people are watching tv on pc's so it may not count towards the rating score.

the biggest losers is not a tv show....but rather the audience of nbc programs. they've managed to
turn away their core audience with such low brow entertainment, lowering the ratings of all their
shows as a result. on the upside, its making it all the more apparent that networks that do air
quality show will be rewarded with the rating they actually deserve. well, except for fx and the
demise of the stellar show terriers. fox can suck a high hard one for that.

it's almost is if this network really is being running by jack donaghy, or should i now say
cabletown (comcast). they've managed to group their only decent shows on thursday, leaving the other
6 days for truly trite television. i bet conan is laughing his ass off right about now and very
thankful he abandoned that sinking ship of a tv network. hulu is 30% owned by universal-nbc-comcast,
and it's rumored that their current ceo who talked about how dated the broadcast tv model is, will
be soon run out on a rail.

well i thing wrong chase is good show.but as guy said in upper post that stuiped show replace it is
right. but for rateing s i say if 1000 veiwers out of the 1000 600 watch the stuiped show 400 watch
the good show the stuiped show wins but in fact the rateing are wrong in way cus say 1000 veiw and
all of us that dl the cus we dont watch on the tv. all of that dl the file done get counted on the rateings
when we proubly would of out numbered the 600 stuiped veiwers that got the rateing for stuiped show
that takes off the good show cus we dont get counted on the rateings. so in fact it might be us as dl
that realy get the show taken off cus of rateing cus we are not counted or vote not counted
