Lucy Lawless Joins “No Ordinary Family”

i doubt lucy can bring back nof, the writing is just too average (even though i do like watching the
show...). however, any excuse to see her sexiness is a plus for me. too bad abc won't be
showcasing her wonderful, 40-year-old titties like starz does in spartacus...

i must agree with any reason to view ms. lawless is a good reason for me, but nof needs more then
she can bring. it needs a writer. why not as brochiemer, he's not too busy...lol

guess i'm on the flipside. i'm indifferent about lawless joining the cast (they killed-off the girl i thought was ultra-sexy in
the second or third ep), but i like the show overall. if i had to give feedback about what the show needs, i'd offer the one
thing that's been going through my mind from the beginning: action.

this is a show about super-powered people, but it's continually focused on the mundane aspects of their lives. ok, i can dig
wanting to have the show be more real and down-to-earth with the inclusion of such things, but it lacks balance. the father's
exploits are, to be frank, pretty boring and short-lived. i'd be much more enthused if he actually started kicking some
serious ass and making a difference, not all these piecemeal, short-lived encounters.

the wife and son have, i think, just about the right amount of screen-time, although i'd like to see the wife become a touch
more competant with her powers (she's supposed to be smart, so why didn't it occur to her to throw a super-speed punch at
the bad guy in the most recent ep, as opposed to just turning her back and getting clobbered? not too bright). the
daughter, on the other hand, is really starting to get on my nerves. she "hears" some snippet of thought, misinterprets it,
sticks her nose into someone else's business over it, and ends up causing grief. repeatedly. she still hasn't figured out that
just because she can hear someone's thoughts that, golly, it might actually be an invasion of privacy and not any of her
damned business. lol

which is currently broadcasting on starz.

the actors on this show are fantastic, its the writing that lets it down. msg to the writers, please put more
though into it and it will survive!

i don't believe one person can revive a show, they can help but not sole reason at all. usually when
a new person comes in the script changes sometimes for the better sometimes for the worst.

i think her presence in it will help but i don't know if it will improve the script.

however, any reason to see those amazing eyes of hers on my screen i am all for.

the second season of spartacus as you mentioned is actually the prequel of the first season. and lucy
is hot in it!

now i have to watch this show even if it's borring ! thank you lucie ❤️ !
