mcclain, josh mcdermitt, ryan michelle bathe and george wyner. the series, which is tv land's second
original scripted comedy series, premiered on january 19, 2011 following hot in cleveland.[1]

the series is filmed in multi-camera format in front of a live studio audience.[2] the series was
created by chris case, who also serves as executive producer. michael hanel and mindy schultheis are
executive producers as well.

premise
the series follows a successful new yorker named david (johnathan mcclain), who decides to leave the
rat race and his job in the big city and move in with his father (george segal) and mother (jessica
walter) who live in a retirement community in florida to reconnect with them, re-evaluate his life
and live the dream of retirement that so many are working toward.

yeah this is a disaster sitcom.

lead guy is lawyer "retired at 35" with his dad, after his mom (sadly the mom from arrested
development took part in this, guess she needed work) left him. it's shit my dad says without jokes
(and shit my dad says is barely tolerable to begin with). couple interracial jokes thrown on top
for good measure (which are meant to be: shockers!!!1111). just awful. will not be downloading
this one again. makes mike & molly look like seinfeld.

i downloaded this without reading anything about it but i got to the part where the mum opened the door
then i deleted it off my computer.... that's was like 30secs to 1 min in..... shockingly bad.

got about a minute into the show and thought "why am i watching this?" it's in 4:3 and if it wasn't
for the "audience" laughter, i wouldn't have known where the jokes were.
i only have myself to blame.
like a 'wet paint' sign, i didn't take the previous advice seriously and i had to see for myself.
to anyone reading this and thinking of downloading, all i can say is, do it only if you can afford to.
and trust me, you will be disappointed.
