Justified Season 2 Gets Premier Date

with all the cookie cutter crap cop/forensics/legal dramas out there, i found theis series both excellent in production and
story. the casting and acting is spot on also. if you havent seen this yet check it out before the new series starts.

i really like this show. it's worth watching if you haven't seen it.

one quibble- the writer of this update called it a western that takes place in the modern wild west-
really? kentucky?

i guess they actually mean more of a wild-west-style setting than the actual wild west ... but it's
good to know the olyphant is coming back.

the song from the season final (you'll never leave harlan alive) still rings in my ears ...

i liked the show, but not as much as terriers. and "justified" was the one they renewed. just goes
to show you how completely arbitrary a tv shows survival is. then again, the marketing campaign for
justified was pretty solid. had they made it as stupid as it was for terriers, like just a bunch of
hat photos, that show would have tanked too. fx is such a show-me fox type network now its a miracle
this one made it. nip/tuck and the shield started off with small audiences and that put them on the
map. now everything must be a runaway hit or its canceled....a pity.

when i watch this show i'm reminded that i miss deadwood.

i like olyphant, and i really really like goggins since the shield (a show that was
great at the beginning until the creators decided to eff up the script big time).

i watched the 1st episode of justified- and couldn't watch it to the end, it was that bad.
i have had the whole season 1 here for a few months now, but i feel no way like watching it.
too many dull stereotypes, no interesting introduction of the characters and the story.
neither olyphant nor goggins really convinced me in their parts.
maybe you have to be from the midwest to appreciate the show?
i think it's gonna be canceled after season 2.

perhaps i was expecting too much, but there really are much better shows out there.
if the writers don't even get the pilot somewhat decent, there's no way the show can be good any
time after.
because so far, almost every show has lost in quality after a while due to the fact that it's much
easier to start a good script than to go on with it / finish it.
it's always a thin line between going on forever with the same story lines which becomes boring and
developing the story which can obviously go wrong.
when a writer has a script to pitch, he has a few episodes only, let alone a whole season.
there are shows where plots are written right before the shoot.
so generally the quality degrades, plots become ridiculous or just desperate because the writers
have sort of gotten in a one way street and need to get out in whatever way.

sure this show started slowly, but the build up to the season finale was well worth the wait. bring
on season 2. worth the watch in my book

can already decide whether the characters are dull stereotypes or not?
