amazing. the site admin asks for *submissions via pm of graphics/design ideas*, and gets 10 pages
of crap. 10 pages that largely consist of poorly-thought-out or already implemented
content/functionality changes. what happened to reading comprehension? i certainly wouldn't donate
my time or bandwidth for the community represented by the majority of the responses here. grow up,
people. you're really lucky that novaking and the rest of the eztv gang put up with this. remember
when the forums were locked down for what -- a year? longer? this thread makes me pine for those days.

hi eztv staff!

i just want to say that the set out & look of the site as it is now is excellent as far as i'm concerned.
the clean & easily read text & look make for a speedy page loading for all the user's out there with low
bandwidth available. extra stuff just make's for slow page loading.

but most of all i wish to thank all of the staff for a doing a sometime's thankless job involving hour's of
hard work.

new poster here only registered for this eep it simple the way it is is excellent i have even got a
friend using this who strugled even to use google ( he a bit slow) only thing i would maybe have is
info section on the shows even if its just a link to the shows wiki site because being from the uk
a lot of new shows get missed as i havent seen them advertised and the only way i start watching
them is fining the new shows on eztv then googling them .

just click on the show name in the home page & it take's you to an episode description, if there is a show
infomation page the link will be on that page.

here's a mockup i did, just posting it up to get some discussion going. i've kept the homepage in a similar
layout, similar colours, just removed some stuff i thought was cluttering it up, added a bit of spacing and
so on.

the main change is the logo, which could use a bunch more work. the idea was to keep similar elements to
the current one, but just update it a bit and make it fit more in with the rest of the site.

any feedback / opinions would be great.

i like this site because it's simple, i like everything it have like what's show will be airing
today, calendar, show list, countdown list... what will i add? because the popularity of this site
i would add a trends section and statistics graph of the top shows. why? we see many good shows
being cancel by their ratings. who cancel is the tv network but we need to show to the tv actors,
producers, writers and too all of them who works in the industry that what they do is good, it reach
more people that what they think and if they get cancel, they get the rights for move to other tv
network or negotiate a time. twitter make a revolution with the trendings in many things, lets make
this site a powerful tool for our favorite shows. also i would like to see that iphone app.

keep it clean for those of us that do not have a superfast web connection.

the old story "if it is not broken, do not fix it"

nothing wrong with this site as it is the only one i use for finding tv shows as the site is very easy to use
and everything is easy to find.

this is the best site for tv shows period.

i feel that when you search for a show i prefer it that when you have chosen your show you don't have to
click the search button

i love how simple the site is to use and it loads really fast which is great!!!!

but i do agree that it could look better whilst keeping the simplicity intact take itunes & google there
are both browser friendly even onto mobile phones

but however i think there could be some improvements

* when you goto a show i think that there should be more information about the show i.e the plot so
far, contained on this page i think each season should have its own page with a sumarry or each
season and a list of all episodes in this season to download.

* a logo next to each episode showing you what file type it is (avi/mkv...etc)

* as long as you log in i think you could subscribe to shows, so the home page could have a custom
news feed listing new espisodes uploaded onto your favorite/subscribed shows.

* fast search like on facebook friend as you atrt typing sugestions come which you can click directly
and go the that page.

* i don't know if anyone else does this but everytime i download episodes i then have to rename them
to something like (401 - chuck - vs. the pink slip.avi {season number/episode number - show -
episode title}). could there be a more standard way for your seeders to name file when they upload, i
know at the min you see the file name and you get an idea of who uploaded it , file format and qaulity,
but surley this all could be done as part of the upload process so it appears in table form e.g season/ep
| show (could be hidden if your on that shows page)| episode | format logo | res logo (1080i/p of
720i/p etc) | download link | >>more info |

that whole season in 1 torrent (kinda laborius when you find a show you like and realised you have

see faq #1 , the current name format is scene based, since these are all scene releases

eztv's main purpose (excluding mvgroup distribution) is the distribution of 'new release'
episodes, not the index of all shows in every season, you will notice that early seasons of most
shows no longer function due to natural atrition
