The Mentalist 3x11 (HDTV-ASAP)

is it just me or is the audio off the entire episode?

no audio problems, but video focus issues at some points, its weird that a lot of the mentalist
episodes uploaded here have that, anyone know why?

this file came down really slow, took nearly all day to get it. have just opened it and picture
quality is fine. only one problem it came down as a .torrent file not .avi and was unreadable
until i changed the extension to .avi

it's not just you, i noticed it as well.

and before anyone says it, no, i do not need to change my player. tried the file 3 different places
and got the same each time.

you cant just change a .torrent file to an .avi, its a completly different thing, there is no way
that worked! files downloaded here are always .torrent files thats why you need vuze or utorrent to
open the torrent file and download it, after that you get your .avi file!
and it took you all day? theres gotta be something wrong with your connection, took me less than an
hour....

i didnt notice it, but if it annoys you too much you can alway use vlc media player and adjust the
audio exactly to the video, believe me i know how annoying it can be when something is out of sync!!!

download took about 15 minutes and the file works perfectly..

this works fine on my laptop but it crashes my divx player.
at first i thought it might be the usb dongle so i switched it and it still won't play.
after searching codecs and asap i get nowhere, only people asking for their problems to be fixed
assoonaspossible.

is it the asap (whatever that means) that is keeping me from playing this and does anyone have any
clue to a link or can explain here what the heck asap is.

if so, please i beg of you to get some normal hdtv xvids up as my family really want to watch this
and my pc isn't hooked up to the tv. also i need to computer to work whilst watching the mentalist...

any help would be appreciated

asap is the cap/release scene group name

have you any idea why all those asap releases (mentalist) crash my divx player?

there are no viruses in it or anything so don't worry about that.
it just crashes the dvd player.

anyone have any ideas why its very frsutrating.

did you try to burn another dvd/cd?
i assume it worked with other .avi files right?

ok whilst i put this on two usbs and formatted them both to check for issues there i had not thought
to burn a cd of it.
the cd works.
none of the other torrents i have on the sticks fail, they all work fine.
i even tried renaming the file and putting another copy in another location (folder with another
avi) but it seems the stick just will not play this one avi.

no idea but at least i can watch this episode now with the family on the big tv.

thank you for all your help and if anyone has any ideas still about why the stick doesn't work with
this one file it would be very decent of you. its irritating when i can't work out why things go
pear shaped.

this won't play from a usb stick on my philips divx player, but plays fine on the computer, using
vlc player.

i've also had the same issue with - the closer 6x15 - also an asap capture ☹️

i wonder what asap are doing different to everyone else?

i've just burnt this and the closer to a disk, to see if that makes a difference.

well, they both play on my philips divx dvd player, when burnt onto a disk.

although, the mentalist does have some sequences where the sound is out of sync.
