well, there isn't a whole lot more to this roman storyline. the show would get
kind of crap if they moved much past the julius caesar / marc anthony era

the twelve caesars!
too bad this is the last season, i was hoping to see something from the
caligula era... oh well.
i read hbo and bbc (same team that made rome), are going to create a show based
on the crusaders period. so good news for rar86 and for history buffs, and well
lovers of rome. hbo still churning out the good stuff after this season and
series end.
the only reason i'm trying to download this is because copy protection prevented
my pvr from legally recording the show tonight for later watching. i recorded
the entire first season and that didn't stop me from buying the dvd set when it
came out. thanks for showing just how stupid and greedy you execs can be, and
good luck getting me to buy either the hd version or the second season should
they ever come out too. you've just made one more really pissed off enemy.
ps: says in utorrent that no connection could be made because the target machine
actively refused it. sigh...
just finished downloading. nope, no hbo mark. quality is excellent too. many
many thanks to all of the good people out there who are willing to go to all the
trouble and risk of putting together torrents like these.
it's sad that this is the last season. rome is one of my top three favorite
shows of all time, and i've been looking forward to season two for a really long
time now. i'm so very glad that the wife and i aren't going to miss it, which i
was really getting worried for a bit there that we would.
this is exactly what happens when stupid greedy execs go too damn far. they
force even the most law abiding citizen to do the exact thing they are trying to
prevent. i pay good money for my cable service. i even purchased the first
season of rome on dvd last year, and probably would have bought the second too.
from now on i refuse to feel bad about downloading shows that i have every right
to watch. stop treating everyone like criminals already, you arrogant sob's!
hopefully some day all these stupid copy protections that do way more harm than
good will found to be both unfair and unlawful. i've actually put off boycotting
the industry for a long while now. the idiotic things that the entertainment
industry has been doing simply hasn't affected me much until now, and also
because i watch a lot of good shows that i would hate to do without. but enough
is enough already. no more money for you.
