through many years, i don't think i've posted more than a couple of times with worry about an
absence of a release. even so, i'll say something on behalf of the more nervous and pessimistic
crowd, so often accused of whining:
following eztv, we've been spoiled. usually, a release is posted here within an hour or two of the
airing. i really have no idea how people manage to do it so quickly, and do it /almost/ without
fail. as a result, we get worried when a day goes by without a release. i don't think it's fair to
call it whining, though. it's not for lack of gratitude, and it's not some demand we make. it's just
worry that the release may not come.
personally, i never worry about american shows; i know that they'll come. when a british show isn't
posted after a while, though, i might get a bit nervous. sometimes it can take a very long time
(which is nerve wrecking), and sometimes it just doesn't show up at all. so i've posted a couple of
times myself. mostly, i hope someone will be able to tell me that the airing time was wrong, and the
show had a break this week. that would end my worries immediately. i don't think it's fair to say
that wondering if the show aired equals whining about the scene. after all, i love those guys, doing
such great work, and putting it out there for free!
does anyone actually know the rule of wait 72 hours for the scene to cap a show after airtime to
start whinging that their free service is lacking in professional customer service???
sod off ding dong as written by esign we're used to seeing eps upped an hour or two after airing i do however understand
that sometimes eps get shunted to a later time spot or just don't get aired at all when some "other" more important thing is
going on like an presidential speech or some look at me i'm famous award show
