i do prefer the 350 than this others, the 1st is already enough for any use.
there is a lot of people that prefer this one.
if you wanna make a test with this other one there is no problem, but keep the
standard for those users.
also this new file is bigger than the standard, this may cause a sort of
indifference for the new format.
actually, not many people have a 1080 tv, you might think a lot
of people do but
they only have 1080i instead of 1080p - only 108p is really full hd
tests show that given a choice between 720p and 1080i the better choice is 720p,
overall mathematically this gives better picture than 1080i... so 720p is nice
for now, only really high end plasma's and lcd's are doing full 1080p today!
108p isn't even close to streaming video quality 😉 btw, 1080p isn't a standard
for broadcasting.
720p isn't always the best option. in australia they have chosen 1080i because
for film and progressive content (which is most of the content), you can easily
play 1080i50 at 1080p25. for sports however, 720p produces the best result.
also, don't forget 720p rips are at 23.976 fps, where as 1080i rips would be at
the same frame rate, but with a higher resolution.
