The Only Thing Offensive About 'Mike & Molly' Is the Fat Jokes ?

this isn't news, it's an op-ed piece. plus, if this guy is publishing this on a "legit" website, then he might
want to proofread his article before posting.

i cant stand the show. and i almost every comedy show that shows up on this website. its partially
the fat jokes, partially the fact that the characters are ludicrous (how the hell is that guy a cop)
the side characters (minus the high chick) are terrible.

the show is funny, especially the fat jokes. i am a larger guy and hell it's refreshing to see the show jokes
and all. i cannot believe that this is all that people have to bitch about. it's a show, deal with it or don't
watch it

the news part of the peice was about the woman who complained about having to watch fat people
kiss on tv.

what a crap article mike & molly is awesome and the fat jokes complement the show. i like eztv new
for the useful info this post is not worth a read.

this is an idiotic "news" article, but beyond that, it's a terrible tv show.

the entire premise is just fat jokes.

it's cliched white guy / black guy cop 'comedy', with fat jokes. that's it. completely uninspired.

bit.i hope mike and molly goes on many many seasons,and its time people respect that others may like

the jokes themselves are not offensive, fatties are just overly sensitive.

what's offensive is that this show only has one kind of joke.

i am of the plus size variety and i think the show is great! i am not offended at all by the fat jokes and
in fact, i can sometimes relate to them.

i think some people just need to accept the programme for what it is....a comedy designed to make
you laugh.

the great thing about fat jokes is that the people who get offended are going to die prematurely
anyway, so it's not like you have to hear them harping on forever. just like jokes about smokers
are great because all you have to do is run up a flight of stairs and they'll collapse, out of breath,
so you don't have to hear their harping either. 😉

yeah, the show is dumb, but in a way, that makes it slightly entertaining.

the sister, katie mixon, who played april on eastbound and down is really the only funny one on
the show.

i find the show moderately entertaining, which makes me, for all intents and purposes, something of a
sadist. we know being overly fat is unhealthy, so fat jokes only bring out the sadist in us. i have no
problem admitting as much. that being said, fat people should not enjoy the show. i see no good
reason for a fat person to be entertained by the condition, on themselves or anyone else.

you're absolutely right acarrilho.....your size should dictate which programmes you watch.
