one question, does anyone know if this is a movie, a two part miniseries or something else? it looks
like a tv movie, but i'd appreciate more info. thanks.

i rather enjoyed it. very nice looking too - lot of fun being had with style by the producers.

sweet, this is one of my alltime favourite sci-fi novels. i hope the network doesn't totally rape it.

i like it! it doesn't stay totally true to the story (and i can't help wonder why). most of my
favourite scenes in the book are gone like when cavor almost destroys the earth, the selenite king
and lots more :-( but it's entertaining.

@ omnivorous i hardly think it would be 'raped' when its been made by bbc4
