bittorrent technology isn't like just downloading a file off a file-/web-server; it shares the files that you're downloading
with others as you download. this is what makes it so effective for distributing files.
the mpaa frowns upon file sharing of movies/television. you got caught.
you might consider a vpn or proxy, either of which (when properly configured!) will hide you from the prying eyes of the
**aa.
i've found btguard (http://btguard.com) to offer respectable speeds, and only costs $5/mo.
same issue getting caught.... ive been using eztv for at least 2 months and have never had a
problem. i just got a copyright infringement of four letters on my isp and in my email concerning an
episode of "v" that i dl'd using the eztv torrent. my problem is that my email speed runs off radio
signals and i am not sure how i can block or download media without knowing who i am? before i can
continue using eztv.it... i need to know how to tell the difference.... do i need a special
software, hardware, computer, what? cbs is now monitoring my sight because of the infringements....
hey just to let you know... glee season 2 episode 14 is being tracked and monitored by fox anti-
piracy.... i just got hit with a notice of claim of copyright infringement. they tracked what
torrent program i used, when i downloaded it, my ip address, my real address, everything! then
they tattled on me to my internet service provider, who also threatend to terminate my service
because of it. so becarefull, and i would recommend to eztv to have that episode removed, or
something. thanks.

*sigh* you are downloading a link from a public site, and the linked .torrent file uses public
trackers to track the distribution
click on the peers tab of your client, that is all they have to do, i suggest you search for
programs like peerblock and enable encryption etc
