Blue Bloods S01E01 HDTV XviD-LOL

i thought this was going to be another vampire series, but it looks like another cop
show...sigh....

i wouldn't count this one out just yet. i completely agree on both counts (vampire and cop shows being tired and
numerous), but i've actually been looking forward to this one since it was announced quite awhile ago. apparently the police
element is just the backdrop, and it's primarily a character-driven story. i've totally spaced what exactly i'd read about it
months ago, but i do remember thinking, "hey, that actually sounds good!" not to mention it'll be great to see tom selleck
on a regular series again. let's cross our fingers and hope it really turns out to be good.

same, i got this when i googled http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/blue_bloods_%28series%29 and didn't
bother reading any more when i saw 'vampire'

vampires??? you might want to research a little better, this has nothing to do with vampires going
by this from tv.com.

in the pilot of blue bloods we are introduced to a new kind of crime family the reagan's just as
jamie is graduating from the police academy and joining the nypd, after deciding not to pursue his
career as a lawyer. frank is questioned by the press over the trust that the latino community of new
york has of the police department. and when a young hispanic girl goes missing danny soon finds
himself being questioned over his interrogation methods. first by his sister erin who has strong
opposing views to his methods and this soon leads to quite a heated discussion during a family
dinner. will justice prevail and will this tight-knit family be able to continue to function with
their conflict of values, find out this fall.

so, in reply to sinclap2, i should have spelled out "yes, i also thought it was another show about
vampires from the title" instead of the commonly used word "same" used as an expression of "hey, i
was thinking the same thing"

even take it a step further, since sinclap2 mentions the 'another'cop show and cthulhusaves comments
about the 'police' element , don't you think your comment is hours late and useless, since all of us
did our own 'research' before commenting, we are merely sharing our similar experience

definitely a quality product with selleck and wahlberg in it! i enjoyed episode 1.

great show! thankfully not another csi, law & order, etc. excellent cast (how did they do that?)

the writers of this show are to be commended for staying focused.

when i downloaded this episode, i got a 'copyright infringement" notice in my emails, just wondering if
anyone else got an infringement notice. otherwise i thoroughly enjoyed the first episode, just wary
about downloading anymore episodes.
