kinda reminds me of profit, where the star is a bad guy.

profit was good, well bad, but good!

6 out of ten. voight, an actor's actor, filled up the room whenever he appeared. the others not so
much. story was weak and tried to create conflict between con artist father and son. it didn't work.
the con/father had nothing to endear him to the viewers as a real character - miscast as a bitter
man. bad is one thing, bitter another, and bitter is a difficult sell for viewer interest...
probably because of david keith's overexposure as a hard case in just about everything he's been in,
possibly because he lacks the range his character requires. voight's sons came across as juvenile.
again there was nothing to like or dislike. won't find any jr's or bobby ewings here.
