cool. this is one of the few shows i actually enjoy to watch.

yeah, when an artifact is doing crazy shit all episode long, and is the whole point of the episode, it ain't
exactly abruptly-introduced magical thing to resolve the plot. it is the plot, and has been since the start of
the episode. a deus ex machina would be something like the wormhole drive in the retarded series
finale of stargate atlantis.

but, you know, if you're happy being an idiot, by all means continue.

i watched like 10 episodes of this shit and it is horrible, some magic like 'artefacts' influencing
everything. no explanations.
storyline is boring, always the same, it's a copy-cat of eureka, just at a lower level, because eureka trys
to explain their stuff within a technological way.
worst of all - it is predictable.. you watch like 10 minutes of an episode, and you basically guess
everything.. well you don't even need to guess, it is always the same thing - some gay artefact shows
up, messes things, then the lame heroes arrive, grab the thing and store it in their infinitely long
warehouse.
this stuff could be watchable perhaps 10 years ago or so.
they should cancel it. i meant must not should.

i just love how they managed to bastardize every single inventor, artist, historical figure, etc...
just pulling some kind of idiotic magic devices out of their ass. not to mention writing is just
bad. really, really bad and acting is absolutely horrendous. super lame show with no redeeming value
at all. written and produced by monkeys, just wasting air time with "some shit".
i'm a sucker for sci-fi shows and movies, but this one made me cringe and facepalm like there is no
tomorrow, so i gave up. and i've watched a fair share of bad/mediocre shows, including sg:u.

(it is also quite cheap while sg:u was really high-budget. probably one of the reasons it got
aborted so fast).

sorry for the rather inflammatory post... i had to get it off my chest. i just hate warezhose 13 🙂

i was intrigued when i heard of the new lost series. i have enjoyed classic stories such as
robinson crusoe and swiss family robinson, and even lost in space and castaway. the stories
of one, or a small group of people learning to survive when detached from civilization dramatize
the feelings of helplessness that many of us experience on occasion. the lost series goes
beyond the man vs. nature storyline. we see each character's soul exposed in flashbacks. these
flashbacks identify the burdens each character has to bear in addition to the challenges of
surviving on a deserted island. the series gives me hope for broadcast television,i look forward
to viewing the dvd
