NBC cancels 'Mercy,' 'Trauma'

i\'m all for letting my younger viewers decide what we all watch. the numberless reality shows have
been held aloft exclusively by that demographic. but what about programming for the rest of us, the
ones madison avenue doesn\'t care about? what were \"law and order\'s\" ratings among the creakier and
crankier of us, for example, those able to vote and drink and stay out late without checking with
our folks?

come on, guys. leave a little something for us!

only one i'm disappointed about is trauma.. i liked that a lot.

well, i for one thinks it stinks that all 3 of these shows were canceled! particularly trauma &
mercy which were developing the characters nicely. it just seems as though no one enjoys or has the
patience for the process. too sad! it's all about now! now! now! though now days even 'all in the
family'
wouldn't make it past one season!

just finished watching the last two eps of trauma and i'm fairly disappointed i won't get to see
anymore.

well, here they go again... cutting the good shows and keeping the crap shows. i mean come on!

this is so bloody unfair. i live in the uk and have been loving this show. i hate that these guys
don't give a show a proper chance, bring it back now. i''m really into happy town too and i have a
feeling that because it's a little different that they will do the same to that. occaisionally a
british or sky channel will pick up a show like they did with dirty sexy money and eastwick and we
just get into them and they get cancelled. the u.s make some fantastic tv shows put are too quick
to pull the plug on them. bugger bugger bugger. is it possible to let people vote for what they
want to keep?

well said, as a uk tv watcher i'm pissed off watching the normal crap that our so called services
provide us with, i started to watch trauma because there was sweet fa on at the time.
i was hooked after the first episode,the story lines are intense, each episode gives a bit of insight to
each character, what more could you ask for, now flashforward has been cancelled as well, ok so this
is a weird but intense series, but i love it.
what the firk do these so called tv exec's think they are doing, there is a fan base out there.
ok so it's not in the " good old u s of a " is in the far of shore's of the uk.
instead of being so quick to cancel a show maybe they should look around and say " hey, we can sell
this to the uk, european market, make it work and earn shite load's of money ".
rant over.

i looked forward to this show every week and in australia it is only on tv late at night sometimes

i wish i knew who they used to decide who watchs these shows
in australia we get 2 eps of a new show then they cancel on us live 90210 and melrose.
we havnt even reached the end of stargate altantis and only get half of the decent tv on pay tv

just thought id add that they couldnt even give loyal fans an ending to all the characters wide open
story lines.
