if those people actually made death threats, why aren't they already in jail, in that special place
for terrorists?

also, spineless network. what happened to "we don't give in to their demands". it looks like the
terrorists won, even if they are practically meaningless in terms of actual power.

haha, but on a lighter note, this is the second time that comedy central has done that. they usually
leak
these episodes to the internet a few weeks later so that the fans can actually see it how it was intended
to
be seen. it happened with the "family guy" episode where they showed the image without the
censorship.
anyway, i'll part with one last goodie... the s.s. censorship!

they certainly don't scare me when i'm watching cartoons.

its amazing to see how islam bashing brings some ppl together, like ... on ...

it isn't about bashing islam.

it's about freedom of speech. south park has made fun of every religion and everybody.

these guys threatened comedy central and the creators of south park by posting their addresses on their
website and saying the same thing that happened to theo van gogh (dutch filmmaker who made a film
critical of islam) would likely happen to them. they posted a picture of him lying in the street.

these are also us citizens which is the crazy thing. only a dozen members from what i've read.

comedy central gave into their threats and set a dangerous precedent that it's ok to give into these kinds
of threats. it's bs. they pussied out and now extremists will threaten even more americans in the future to
get what they want.

more muslims need to stand up to these extremists otherwise people are going to think all muslims are like
this or don't care about what is happening or agree with these extermists.

what i don't understand is if mohammed is off limits because he's a prophet then why isn't jesus and moses
also off limit? they are considered prophets in islam right?

does anyone know if the version that plays on the comedy network in canada will be uncensored like
normal?

why do we even care what muslims think? remember a few days ago they said that women who wear short skirts cause
earthquakes!. what the.... talk about stupid is, stupid does. the muslims want israel to get rid of all nukes, but in the same
vein they are stockpiling nukes like bad karma. speaking of karma...i hate to be in the middle east when jesus comes back
and opens up his can of whoop ...

what the show did to "prophet mohammed" is not forgivable

lets go deep for a second. i'm not a religious person but i think religion is needed in the world, it gives
people hope, however when you literally live by the words and teachings of a religious text it becomes
extremely difficult to take criticism because when someone disrespects your faith they are disrespecting
your way of life as well.

everyone should be allowed to say what they want and be judged for it afterwards by those around
them (generally the way it works, right?), but it is absolutely wrong to impose your religion on other
people and their way of life. if they don't believe, then they don't believe, end of.

the creators of south park should be allowed to put out their show uncensored. if the network doesn't
like it then drop the show or negotiate with the creators rather than imposing censorship without their
say-so. i guess the network has bought the show so they have the last word but south park is south
park you have to expect to ride that line of controversy. that's one of the main reasons people love it
so much.

i guess that's just me though. i am actually the epitome of a free mind, uninfluenced by religion,
uninfluenced by peer-pressure (as opposed to jumping on the nearest bandwagon to make cheap
friends), i do not hate, nor judge without first understanding and i stand by what i believe to be right.
oh and i can indeed take a joke, only the weak-minded are unable to accept criticism of their person,
that includes what they believe in. i'm in no way perfect; but i'm totally free.
