New Doctor Who Matt Smith gets more than 8m viewers

and he killed at it too....

it's about time they revised the tardis... in the classic series it changed significantly with each
doctor iirc. and at least they spoke about the size of the tardis .. in older eps it was supposedly
big enough to get lost in with many corridors and huge rooms. all that's been shown is the console
room and a walk in wardrobe.


i did rather like matt and karen though despite being rather pessimistic about him... and clips at
the end from future eps look very interesting.

indeed yes, having been a fan of the older series (pre davidson i have to say) and then a fan of the
new one too - with trepidation i awaited dr smith. however i thought the episode was quite good.

they seem to have set off an arc for the end of the series (silence, crack in the universe) dont
know how that will beat the "end of reality" and the "end of time" as series enders tho.

still looking good.

ps - mentioning the tardis size..."its about time"!!!

he looks a bit weird but he sure passes with flying colors, looking forward to more eps.
a bit more grown up than david tennant which i think is good

it's funny you should say that considering he's the youngest actor to play the role.

but anyway, i really enjoyed the episode. i think smith'll be a great doctor, and he'll fill
tennant's shoes perfectly. this series looks exciting from the previews too!

he looks weird because we cant see his eye brows. he seems to act ok. maybe it is the first episode,
but some of the dialogues seemed to be based for tenant than a new actor. i am sure he will make
this part his own and make us all sit at the edge of our seats each week. too bad its only 13
episode per season.
