stupid question, but what codec / player should i use to view this file. i 've
download xvidd codec and am tryin g to use it with video lan client, but it
doesn't work.

vlc (videolan client) does not require any codecs at all.... it has all its own
codecs built right into it..
you are going to have to be more specific on what the problem is... you should
be able to just open it in vlc..
