Spartacus: Is Crixus dead?

if you know your history you will know that crixus became joint leader when spartacus rebelled and led
rome an almighty run around.
presume this series will follow history

following history? only roughly i imagine, especially given that so much factual detail is unknown.
none of the ladies get much (if any) mention in history, mostly cos they probably didn't exist, but
i am glad they have been invented for this series.

anyway, whenever they bear someone out to get medical attention right at the end of a tv show it's a
given that they're gonna come back swinging in the next episode! so no meathooks for crixus just yet!
