i hope his show crashes and burns so they have to bring back conan to save their 11:35 slot

you aint got the story straigt guys..
1) leno got booted out when conan threatened to leave nbc if he didnt get that show.
2) leno didn't want to make a fuss and said stopping the show was his own dissission
3) leno was still the nr 1 late night show when he stopped
4) leno got offered the 22:00 slot and he took it
5) ratings for conan at 23:30 were suckballs
6) ratings for leno at 22:00 also bad
7) tonight show got canceled because of the poor ratings
8) leno @ 10 also got canceled because of poor ratings
9) leno got offered his old spot back and he took it (supporting his entire crew)
10) conan left nbc with shitloads of cash

i'm just happy to see him back.. his standup is the absolute best!

4) that would also be support for leno not coming back to the tonight show. he had a shot at
primetime, he blew it.
5) every new host of the tonight show has bad ratings at first. it's called 'audience building'.
6) yes, but that's primetime which is why he got cancelled.
7) false. nbc wanted to end the 50-year 1135 timeslot of the tonight show, and conan refused to take
part in the termination of an american television institution.

more.
nbc and leno deserve to tank for what they did to the tonight show with conan o'brien.

thanks for clearing up their rubbish, especially the bs about tts getting canceled.
i've actually seen conan live (though it was more of a clip show sadly, the one where he goes to finland
but we got 2 t-shirts out of it) and while i may support him over jay i have to say i'm going to miss the
jay leno show.
it was refreshing to have something entertaining on at 10 that wasn't a drama or a rerun. probably the
best thing jay does is feature other people to do segments for him, like kevin smith or tom green.
what's really sad about conan leaving nbc is now the network owns the rights to all of his bits and
characters including triumph.
i think what was a conflict for tts with conan was his demographic during that time slot was most likely
watching colbert for the first half of his show.
