anyone know if this is an honest look at christianity, warts and all, or is it a self-congratulatory stroke
off? the fact that it is hosted by a gay guy who went to seminary but then refused to be ordained for
political reasons is promising so i\'ll give it a go.

tho i just started d/l'g the series & have yet to watch it, the release info looks interesting. i
suspect it's at least in part an apologetic, but it also seems to be a somewhat objective and
factually based historical account of the christian faith. well worth watching if one is interested
in this subject!
